Lord of Storm's End during the long reign of King Jaehaerys the Conciliator and into the early years of King Viserys I. Born in 52 AC, the only son of Lord Rogar Baratheon by the Dowager Queen Alyssa Velaryon, and brother to the Princess Jocelyn who in time wed Prince Aemon, the king's heir. He stood for his cousin Princess Rhaenys at the Great Council of 101 AC over the claim of Prince Viserys, but the lords' vote went the other way; his son and heir Borros would in the next generation take up arms for the green party in the Dance of the Dragons that question raised.
