Daeron Targaryen

Third son of Aegon V. Betrothed as a boy to Lady Olenna Redwyne (who broke the match herself), he never married, taking instead a sworn shield with whom he spent his life. He fell at three-and-twenty in the War of the Ninepenny Kings, fighting the last of the Blackfyre pretenders on the Stepstones.
