Youngest and fairest of Lord Borros Baratheon's four daughters by Elenda Caron, born at Storm's End in 118 AC, and the comeliest of the sisters whom the singers called the Four Storms. She rode north with her sisters Cassandra and Ellyn in 131 AC to stand for House Baratheon at the coronation of King Aegon III, and there at the king's court her mother and the regents arranged a match for her with Lord Thaddeus Rowan of Goldengrove, who had lately taken his seat among the Seven Regents and was thrice her age but a good widower of high name. Floris was betrothed to him in 132 AC at fourteen and wed him in his hall before the year was out; she gave him a stillborn son in 135 AC and died in the birthing of him, leaving her old husband in a black state from which the chroniclers say he never recovered.
