  • Lord of Brightwater Keep

Second son of Mace Tyrell and Alerie of Oldtown, born at Highgarden in 279 AC, brother to Willas, Loras, and Margaery, and wed to Leonette of House Fossoway of Cider Hall. He took the epithet the Gallant on his knighting, and those who had crossed swords with both whispered that he was the finer blade, though he let Loras keep the songs and the lists. At the Blackwater he rode at the van cloaked in the green armor of the late King Renly, ghost-grim under a stag-crowned helm, and Stannis Baratheon's host broke when men cried that the dead king had come for them. He stood at the high table when Joffrey Baratheon wed Margaery and choked on his wine, and he was named Lord of Brightwater Keep when Lord Tywin reapportioned the lands of House Florent for their treason in declaring for Stannis, so that the second son of Highgarden took a seat of his own in the Reach.
