Lord of the Eyrie a generation before the War of the Usurper, father to three: Jon, who would in time wear his falcon mantle and bind together the rebellion that put Robert Baratheon on the Iron Throne; Ronnel, named Keeper of the Gates of the Moon by his elder brother; and Alys, only daughter, wed to Ser Elys Waynwood of Ironoaks and dead in her bed after the ninth of nine children. Little else is set down of him in the records of the Citadel save that the lordship of the Vale passed cleanly from his hand to his eldest son's.
