Younger brother of Lord Jon Arryn and second son of Lord Jasper, knighted in his youth and made Keeper of the Gates of the Moon when his brother came into the lordship. He wed a maid of House Belmore and got upon her a single son, Elbert; not long after the child was born he was taken by a bad belly and died, leaving the boy to be raised at the Eyrie as his uncle Jon's named heir.
